Whistling Woods plays host to some old, notable movies for 'Cinema 100'

'Fearless Nadia' has decided to attend Cinema 100 at Whistling Woods International from 1st to 3rd June and it will be quite exciting to see her there after so many years. 'Fearless Nadia' will be brought back to life by the Wadia family who will become a part of this celebration. They will be screening her life through Riyad Wadia's documentary FEARLESS: THE HUNTERWALI STORY. Wadia Movie tone is one of the oldest and most prestigious names in cinematic history.

They have produced some excellent masterpieces like HUNTERWALI and DIAMOND QUEEN. All the people who will attend the event will be lucky enough to witness one of the oldest and most successful movies in Indian Cinema, DIAMOND QUEEN, another movie which shows her doing what she does best action.

Mary Ann Evans or 'Fearless Nadia' as she was popularly known was the first stunt woman of Indian Cinema. She has done various roles which helped in changing the image of the woman in India.

During the three days at Whistling Woods International, people will get to watch an exclusive screening of the documentary FEARLESS: THE HUNTERWALI STORY and see some of the oldest posters made by Wadia Movietone. This will be a rare chance to be a part of such an event.

Another product from the last century of this creative industry is the film HAQUEEQAT, directed by one of the most talented directors of those times, Chetan Anand. The music of this movie has touched many souls and the lyrics are truly inspiring. The movie is based on the Indo-China war of 1962 and is considered one of the best movies made by Chetan Anand. The screening of this movie in the event will be a very special experience as Chetan Anand's son Ketan Anand will be present to talk about the colorization process that this film is currently going through. This film will soon become part of the tiny list of films that have undergone the colorization process in Indian Cinema. If the black and white version of this film was a classic, then the colors will add another level of charisma to it.

Another very interesting thing on the agenda is the sneak preview of one the most memorable films of Indian Cinema in 3D. Be there to catch the first glimpse of this movie. 'Cinema 100' is filled with various surprises and one only has to be there to believe it.
