Shahid Kapoor cancels shoot for brother Ishaan

Shahid Kapoor shares a great bond with younger brother Ishaan, son of Shahid's mother Neelima and Rajesh Khattar, and always makes it a point to be there for him. Few days ago when Ishaan was performing at a show for Shiamak Davar, Shahid Kapoor took time off from rehearsals and attended the show. Not only he sat through the show for Ishaan's performance but also stayed there for the entire evening and mingled with Ishaan's friends.

Recently it was Ishaan's birthday and Shahid, despite his busy schedule, took a day's off to celebrate and spend the time with him. Shahid just did all the things his young brother loves and indulged his friends as well.

Shahid, who starts his shoot today for PHATA POSTER NIKLA HERO with makers of AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI (Tips and Raj Kumar Santoshi) had a lot lined-up for the day. He had magazine shoots, script reading session and prep work for shoot but he took a complete day off as he really wanted to be with his kid brother.

In fact he even took Ishaan and his friends for a spin in his brand new red Jaguar.

A spokesperson of Shahid Kapoor confirms, ''Yes Shahid is extremely close with his younger brother and took a day off.''
