Deepika Padukone in demand for award shows

Actor Deepika Padukone is riding high! The year 2012 has certainly been an amazing year for Deepika. With her superb performance in Homi Adajania's COCKTAIL, where she played sexy Veronica, the actor not only got accolades for her power packed role.

Everyone has loved her performance and she has been flooded with compliments for her acting.

Deepika Padukone's entry in the film was most talked about and now has numerous offers pouring for award shows. Yes, Deepika is now hounded by award shows to dance on her hit track 'Angrezi Beat'

Deepika was praised not only for her acting skills but also for her stunning look in COCKTAIL. It always gave her the hit number 'Angrezi Beat'.

It's the year end, and a number of award functions are round the corner, Deepika is a lot in demand for the same.

Source says, ''Many organizers are in talk with her as they want her to perform to the song. Some of them want to recreate the setting of the film on stage, she may also be carrying the same look from the film.''

However, dippy is very busy with her tight scheduled. Her back to back films YEH JAWANI HAI DEEWANI, RAM LEELA, KOCHADAIYAAN and CHENNAI EXPRESS are all set to release in 2013. With the back-to-back releases, the news about her having finalized any deal with the organizers is yet undecided.

Deepika's spokesperson confirms, ''She has been approached to perform to 'Angrezi Beat' however, Deepika still has to work out her dates.''
