Is TALAASH an extension of Satyamev Jayate for Aamir?

It seems as if it happened yesterday, but it has indeed happened eleven years ago when Aamir Khan came along with Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar with DIL CHAHTA HAI that totally changed the way cinema was being viewed in this country, and for that matter the manner in which movies were being viewed by the fans all across the world. The trio has come back together again and there is a sense of anticipation among the fans and aficionados of cinema that TALAASH - THE ANSWER LIES WITHIN could emerge as the Outlier moment of Hindi cinema once again, underlining the point that indeed the trio of actor director combination that created a new paradigm for cinema making and viewing, with DIL CHAHTA HAI has something in the bag to mesmerize the audience.

The portents are clear, Aamir Khan starred in an episode of the television serial to underline the quest of search or TALAASH that the movie epitomizes. Indeed, TALAASH is a layered and a multiple nuanced movie and to create the element of enigma around it Aamir Khan must have decided to appear in an episode of a television serial to promote the film.

TALAASH is a quest, a quest that is more an exercise to understand oneself, the existentialist dilemmas that one faces in life, the trials and tribulations that one has to go through in the life, with the objective of trying to find peace with self. After all, are we as an individual not in the quest for answers that continue to baffle our existence, our relationships throughout the processes that we endure on a daily basis? If one is able to complete the TALAASH then one has found knowledge and one can indeed be at peace with self.

For the producer duo of Riteish Sidwani and Farhan Akhtar success of TALAASH could provide the continuum of the successful run at box office, and who knows it might trigger an idea about producing a sequel for DIL CHAHTA HAI, so that it provides them another opportunity to work with Aamir Khan once again! For Riteish Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar therefore TALAASH would be a TALAASH for a sequel to DIL CHAHTA HAI.
