Ileana D'cruz paired opposite Shahid Kapoor in PHATA POSTER NIKLA HERO

Shahid Kapoor, who is currently working on the film PHATA POSTER NIKLA HERO, which is Tips' next film, being directed by ace director Rajkumar Santoshi, has some pleasant news coming his way.

Recently, it was announced that south heart-throb & BARFI! fame, Ileana D'Cruz has been signed to star opposite Shahid in the film.

Shahid is highly busy as he is working on two films at the same time, one being Tips venture and other being Prabhudeva's NAMAK. He is extremely excited to start shooting for the films as he has never worked with these kinds of filmmakers before.

PHATA POSTER NIKLA HERO is a keenly anticipated project since it has Rajkumar Santoshi and talented Shahid coming together.

Now that Ileana D'cruz is the latest flavour to this exciting cocktail, the drum up for Shahid's film has just picked up more paces.

After creating magic with Ranbir Kapoor in BARFI! Ileana is all set to be paired opposite Shahid in PHATA POSTER NIKLA HERO.

Recently Shahid had tweeted congratulating team BARFI for making such a good film and he even appreciated Ileana's performance as an actor in the film. He tweeted: ''Finally saw Barfi...huge shout out to the entire team...and great to see a genuinely good film perform well at the box office. Take a bow Anurag rk pc Ileana utv and the entire team for taking the risk of making an unconventional film and backing it all the way.''

The duo is going to bring in a wave of freshness and excitement as the audiences have never seen this pairing before.

Shahid, with his acting caliber that he possesses, has been known for creating memorable on-screen pairs. One can never forget the Geet and Aditya pairing of JAB WE MET with or Prem and Poonam pairing of VIVAH. Also after KAMINEY, Shahid will now be seen in a comic avatar which adds more anticipation to see him on-screen.

A new and fresh face like Ileana with Shahid only thrills up the wait for the film!
