Shweta Bharadwaj impresses Om Puri

Om Puri, who is currently shooting for Ranjeet Gupta's RAMBHAZAN ZINDABAD, is very impressed with the young actor. ''A lot of my scenes in the film were with Om Puriji. When we started working together, he hadn't really seen any of my films & know who I was. But later on as we kept shooting, he came to know I was from Delhi with no Bollywood connections,'' said Shweta Bharadwaj.

It was heard that Om Puri was very surprised by Shweta's performance and thought she has the potential to become a star and had really gone unnoticed till now. Being an outsider himself, Om totally empathized with Shweta & told her that everyone gets their big break & this movie will definitely be hers. Shweta who is doing the film with some really great actors from NSD like Om Puri, Seema Azmi, Zakir Hussain & Kulbhushan Kharbanda believes that even though she is from outside the film industry, she will leave no stone unturned & will work twice as hard to prove herself.

''The film has been such a learning experience and getting to act with such amazing actors, any young actor will definitely get to hone their skills. We have been shooting for the film in Barabanki, Lucknow and we have become like 1 big family,'' adds Shweta.
