After Sridevi, Rekha planning a comeback in Bollywood

Sridevi's ENGLISH VINGLISH has not only set the cash registers ringing at the box-office, but also inspired many. The latest rumour doing the rounds is that yesteryear's Bollywood diva, Rekha, is also planning a return with a bang!

If the gossip mongers are to be believed, Rekha is so impressed by the Gujarati play - 'Baa Ae Mari Boundry' that she wishes to return to the silver screen with this character driven script. Completely smitten with the story, Rekha apparently got in touch with director Indra Kumar with the concept and there has been no looking back since! Of course, who could ever refuse the original diva of Bollywood? Indra Kumar is currently developing the script which is based on the Gujarati play.

Sources close to the director told zoOm that Indra Kumar wants Vivek Oberoi to play the role of Rekha's foreign return grandson in the movie. The source also added that Rekha has insisted on a de-glam avatar in the movie only to be glamorized as the movie progresses!

Well it's raining comebacks and we aren't complaining. But what needs to be seen is whether Rekha's comeback as a glamorous dadi supersedes Sridevi's desi character.
