Sonakshi Sinha not in hurry to take up challenging roles

Sonakshi Sinha is living every bit of her Dabangg image and the fact remains that she is very proud of it. Being 'desi,' has been the way for her film after film and though a few have termed her 'Govinda' song as an image changing exercise, the fact that she would be soon turning a 'Sardarni' no less (SON OF SARDAAR) and also enjoy playing the part of a saree clad housewife (DABANGG 2) before the close of year is pretty much a testimony of that fact.

'Managing to stay away from controversies, keeping her head high, working with the best in the business and not quite hurrying her way into signing up for stories that demand extraordinary histrionics from her, Sonakshi is meticulously building a solid platform for herself to be first accepted as a commercial heroine and then get into a solid actress zone as well," says an industry expert.

Sonakshi is happy to have taken this route as well and after being in the business for a couple of years, she too feels that the going has been fairly good so far.

'I am young and hopefully would be working for many more years to come. I don't have to rush up things, right? I am happy with the way things are progressing. I am sure challenging roles would also come and I would be happy to pick them up as and when that happens. Meanwhile there is good acknowledgment coming my way and I am also enjoying my time in front of the camera. That is a good start," says Sonakshi.
