Varun Dhawan roots for Sophie Chaudhary

Sophie chaudhary has found herself a supporter in the form of hot-n-happening Varun Dhawan. The youngster can't stop singing praises of her single 'Hungama Ho Gaya', the video of which is all set to be launched in a big way. However before the world sees it, Varun has had a dekko, and can be heard telling friends that this one is a smash chartbuster waiting to happen.

'Varun has a very keen ear for music and feels that Sophie would revive the Indi-pop scene back with Hungama Ho Gaya', says a common friend of the actor and the singer, 'He was in know-how of the song for quite some time and had heard it way back. However now that the video is making waves, he is pretty charged up himself about its prospects.'

Varun was acquainted with Sophie during the days of STUDENT OF THE YEAR when Vishal-Shekhar were composing for the film. Since Sophie too has been active in the music scene for quite some time, at times she used to drop by. This is when Varun happened to hear her 'Hungama Ho Gaya', and he was hooked.

Though Varun continues to be busy with post release activities pertaining to STUDENT OF THE YEAR, he is indeed aiming at spreading the buzz around 'Hungama Ho Gaya', as much as possible. No wonder, with others from the industry supporting the latest offering from her as well, Sophie indeed has quite some plans up her sleeves as she readies to strike in a big way.
