Who will hamper whom - Ranbir or Kareena?

Coincidences happen, quite often in Bollywood, and sometimes too frequently for comfort!
Just recently Farah Khan's SHIRIN FARHAD KI TOH NIKAL PADI released a week prior to her husband Shirish Kunder's JOKER. Just for stats, wife Farah Khan's film saw a better outcome compared to her husband's directorial venture, JOKER, yet both suffered at the hands of each other.
Once again a similar sort of occurrence is about to take place, but now, in the Kapoor 'khandaan', and as most of our intelligent patrons must have guessed, we are talking about this week's major release BARFI! and next Friday's HEROINE.
While BARFI!, banking on impressive promos, great music, mind-blowing histrionics (by Ranbir and Priyanka) and excellent promotion, seems to be in a much better position as compared to next week's HEROINE, still, one just cannot ignore Kareena's inspired performance, star power and not to forget Madhur Bhandarkar's faithful band of followers, all of which are bound to boost the opening of HEROINE.

However, BARFI! and HEROINE, releasing in close proximity, will inevitably harm each other. If BARFI! continues its expected good start, even during the second weekend, HEROINE will not open to its full potential. And if the reverse happens, HEROINE may deliver a fatal blow to the prospects of BARFI! As things stand today, and as per the trade, the dice is loaded more in favour of BARFI!
Well, we wish the best to both the films, and hope that both, BARFI! as well as HEROINE click in a big way, so it is a double celebration and a win- win situation for the Kapoor 'khandaan', fingers crossed!
