Spiritual leaders give thumbs up to Akshay's OMG OH MY GOD!

Upcoming 'divine comedy' OMG OH MY GOD!, starring Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar, deals with the issues of atheism and the existence of God and it seems the makers of the movie decided to rope in some spiritual support for the film before the release.

A special screening of the film was conducted in Delhi recently for spiritual leaders from different communities. Amongst those who attended the screening were Maha Mantra Das, the President of Dehi ISKCON, SM Dewan Syed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan (Hereditary Sajjadanashin, Dewan Dargah, Ajmer), Bramha Kumari Sapna, Rabbi Ezekiel Isaac Malekar, Dr. A.K Merchant and Sadhvi Bhagwati Saraswati.

Needless to say, all the spiritual leaders seemed to like the movie and gave it their blessings. Based on acclaimed play 'Kishan v/s Kanhaiya', OMG OH MY GOD! is the hilarious story of an atheist, who files a legal case against God after suffering losses to his business following a natural calamity.

Directed by Umesh Shukla and produced by Grazing Goat Productions, Viacom 18 and S. Spice Studios, OMG OH MY GOD! is slated to release on September 28, 2012.
