Vipul Shah back in Manali with COMMANDO!

It was a couple of years back when producer-director Vipul Shah was in Manali to picturise a song on the lead pair, Akshay Kumar-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, for ACTION REPLAYY. In fact Vipul had waited for months (due to the weather vagaries) before flying to the picturesque hill town for the particular song. And when we had asked him the reason he had told us, "Manali is essential for the song to give it that vintage seventies look."

Well, Vipul is back in Manali, and this time for his latest venture, COMMANDO, along with the lead stars, Vidyut Jamwal, the villain/antagonist of his last production FORCE, and former Miss India Pooja Chopra.

For the uninitiated, the talented Vidyut Jamwal (who won an award for his negative portrayal in FORCE) has specially trained in the US (at an army training centre) for his role in COMMANDO.

As per our very reliable Manali based sources, Vidyut shot for some brilliant martial arts based action sequences in the reserved forest area (Van Vihar) of the town, and was applauded by the huge crowd that had thronged the place to watch the shoot.

Well, Vipul may be going through a bad phase but we are sure that he will surely make a resounding comeback with COMMANDO, and as always we will keep our patrons posted with the latest shooting updates about the film from Manali.
