Farhan Akhtar takes a charitable step

Farhan Akhtar is on a roll these days. After the fantastic success of his film ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA, he's been flooded with endorsement deals. He signed some seven endorsement deals back-to-back after ZNMD.

Farhan has signed up for three commercials with the Tata group for a voiceover. As a token of appreciation, the Company has given him Rs. 15 lakh. But Farhan has some other plans.

"Farhan has decided not to take the money. Instead, he is going to donate it to charity, - Mijwan and Magic bus," says an insider.

Farhan confirms the news saying, "I have the highest regard for Ratan Tata (Tata Group chairman) and his philanthropic nature. Since this is my first personal association with his group, I felt it would be right to do it in a benevolent spirit."

Farhan, who is busy shooting for Om Prakash Mehra's upcoming film BHAAG MILKA BHAAG, has just returned from Ladakh schedule few days back. His next schedule is about to start in 10 days.
