Luke Kenny's RISE OF THE ZOMBIE look unveiled

India 1st Zombie film RISE OF THE ZOMBIE will be releasing soon on February 22nd. And the prosthetic make up gory pictures of the making of the Indian Zombie is out!


	GORY PROSTHETIC MAKE-UP OF ACTOR LUKE KENNY IN RISE OF THE ZOMBIE

It will showcase the journey of the making of one of global pop cultures' scariest creatures, the flesh eating monsters with a strong sense of violence and cannibalism.

Luke Kenny and director and writer Devaki Singh (incidentally the 1st woman director of Zombie films in the world) are experts in the Zombie genre and have watched almost all Zombie films made globally. They felt that India too should have their own Zombie film as every film making country ahead their own Zombie film.

And though Saif Ali Khan and Abhay Deol (GO GOA GONE, SHAADI OF THE DEAD) have their own Zombie films on the anvil, which is touted as the year of the Zombie in Hindi films and the newest genre coinciding with the 100 years of Indian cinema.

Luke Kenny (ROCK ON star) has won the title of being the 1st Indian Zombie film as THE WHITE ZOMBIE was Hollywood 1st Zombie film made 40 years back!

The prosthetic make-up of the Zombie was a painful experience for Luke as he had to put layers of the make-up which took 4 to 5 hours daily!

Says Luke,"It was an excruciating experience, but am glad that ROTZ will be India first Zombie film. It was worth it! RISE OF THE ZOMBIE is a horror thriller film and Indian audience loves horror film especially the youth, who consist a huge majority of the movie audience. Ritu Jhanjani and her Design studio, who has done her work shops in Hollywood has done an excellent job with the prosthetic make up. She is truly world class!

Internationally acclaimed directors of this genre in Hollywood like Danny Boyle, Peter Jackson, George Romero, Sam Raimi, Edgar Wright, Robert Rodriguez etc. have achieved cult status with the Zombie Genre.
