Post DAVID, Vinay Virmani set for Hollywood & Bollywood outings

Vinay Virmani is basking in all the appreciation that he has gained ever since the release of DAVID. The film may have been given a cold shoulder by the audience but to Vinay's good luck, his act has been acknowledged by one and all with quite a few bouquets coming his way as well. Back in Canada now and taking a breather of sorts, he is now in an advanced stage of beginning his next two films. In accordance to the career path that he is devising for himself, there is a film each in Hollywood and Bollywood in the pipeline.

"Yes, Vinay is all set for a Hollywood outing and there would be an official announcement soon. After starting his career with a Canadian film, he is not looking at letting his international market go away. The entire cast is currently being put together for this film which brings him in a completely different space. Even in India, he is quite close to getting a film of his finalised. Though SPEEDY SINGHS (BREAKAWAY) was more of fun, those who have seen DAVID realise that he has a good enough range to pull off a dramatic role as well,'' informs a source.

When contacted, Vinay was expectedly mum about his upcoming projects. Though he did confirm that there are a couple of major assignments that would be made public soon, he shrugged away the insinuation that his films would be primarily in English.

"Arrey, aisa kuch nahi hai. So what if I have been brought up in Canada, I am actually a Punjabi. Hamaare ghar mein Hindi hi bolte hai. Sab sochte hain ki agar yeh Canada se hai toh isko Hindi nahi aati hogi. That's not the case though. The way I have been brought up, I have been connected to my culture and language. That would stay and also show in my films,'' promises Vinay before signing off.
