Ekta Kapoor's mother recommends Sidharth Malhotra's name

After watching STUDENT OF THE YEAR, Ekta Kapoor's mother Shobha Kapoor was highly impressed with Sidharth Malhotra. She, in fact, went ahead and even asked Ekta to sign him for a film.

"Shobha Kapoor often remarks that after Amitabh Bachchan, Sidharth is the one who has the potential to become a big star,'' says an insider.

He has already bagged three films - HASEE TOH PHASEE opposite Parineeti Chopra, Remo D'Souza's untitled film which will be similar to the Hollywood film, FAST AND FURIOUS and Ekta Kapoor's THE VILLAIN.
