Sharmila Tagore hospitalised for food poisoning

Bollywood's veteran actor Sharmila Tagore, as per the reports, is hospitalised for food poisoning. And because of her illness unfortunately she could not even attend the inaugural Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi Memorial lecture held in honour of her late husband.

Sharmila was very upset that she had to miss such an important event due to her sudden illness. The other Pataudi members - son Saif Ali Khan, daughter Soha Ali Khan and daughter-in-law Kareena Kapoor, also gave it a miss as they all were busy with their respective commitments.

We hear the actress wanted to attend the lecture in Chennai and had even written to the BCCI president asking him to schedule it as soon as possible.

Well, we wish the actress a speedy recovery.
