TABLE NO. 21: Lucky or Unlucky?

Casino players are some of the most superstitious gamers around. An interesting research conducted by top universities reveals that people across the globe prefer seating themselves on TABLE NO.21 in the belief that it's lucky. The poll reveals that as high as 80% casino players prefer playing on table no. 21 as opposed to other tables.

Even though most casinos deny it, the fact remains that TABLE NO. 21 has always received the highest bids. Researchers have found that at table no.21, there is no middle ground, people either win big, or don't win at all. Research indicates that as a result, the table is swamped with gamblers, who wait hours in the hope that the luck will rub off on them.

Incidentally, Eros's upcoming movie TABLE NO. 21 starring Rajeev Khandelwal, Tena Desae and Paresh Rawal build on the same idea. The couple is lured into playing a tell-all truth game, with a staggering 21 crores at stake. However, once they begin playing, they realise that it's not just 21 crores but also their lives at stake, and the only way out is to finish the game truthfully.

This time, reel life too has tested the concept of the 'lucky' TABLE NO.21
