Abhishek Bachchan sweeps Comedy Awards for BOL BACHCHAN

Not too long ago, Abhishek Bachchan was flooded with congratulatory calls and messages for his riveting performance in Rohit Shetty's BOL BACHCHAN.

The actor who struck a chord with audiences across the country for his dual- role in the comedy, is on a roll this Award season already bagging 2 prestigious honors.

Abhishek Bachchan bagged the title of 'Best Actor in a Comic Role' for BOL BACHCHAN, at the Big Star Entertainment Awards.

Writing on his micro blogging site the actor said, "Just won Best Actor- Comedy for Bol Bachchan at the Big Star entertainment awards!!!! :-))))))Won because of the most awesome team that we had on the film. ALL the actors and technicians and AD's. I share this award with them. And especially @ajaydevgn and Rohit. For their trust, faith and guidance. Would not have been possible without them #Brother4Life"

Adding another feather to his hat, Abhishek then went on to bag the Comic Award at the Zee Cine Awards.

The actor apart from winning the award also played host alongside good friend and co-actor Riteish Deshmukh - On the occasion he said, ''This year the Awards are returning to Mumbai and our effort will be to make the show entertaining for audiences worldwide."

Ask the actor how it feels to receive so much appreciation for a performance and quick comes the reply, ''I think it's not every day that your roles are appreciated. I am glad that mine was in BOL BACHCHAN, so now I just want to keep that going.''
