Will Saif-Imran enter 100 crore club with MATRU & RACE 2?

Saif Ali Khan and Imran Khan are in the Top-10 list of most saleable actors that Bollywood has today. However one thing which is missing for them is a 100 crore hit. With both of them looking at a major release in months, the question on everyone's lips is - 'In 2013, will they make it big?'

MATRU KI BIJLEE KA MANDOLA and RACE 2

"Imran has an opportunity take an early lead with MATRU KI BIJLEE KA MANDOLA. He has a few films that crossed the 50 crore mark. However he hasn't really cut across the mass audience in the interiors of the country. This rustic affair by Vishal Bhardwaj could be his big chance. It has to be seen if the film clicks in a major way,'' says a source.

On the other hand for Saif Ali Khan, most amongst the audience, trade and industry are positive that RACE 2 would be his calling card into the 100 crore club.

"On its release, RACE was a massive success and also his biggest superhit till then. Now the sequel is even bigger. Moreover it has an advantage of arriving on the weekend of Republic Day. Last year, AGNEEPATH had made a killing by releasing at the same time. Saif lost out on his chance of enjoying a big money spinner with AGENT VINOD. Now RACE 2 is going to be that one big chance,'' the source adds.
