When we asked the talented and highly versatile actress, Swara Bhaskar (who essays the all-important title role), the reasons for signing LISTEN...AMAYA (as she has been quite selective), she told us, ''Actually it has been a conscious decision not to sign too many films, but when I met Avinash I found that LISTEN...AMAYA has a great script. Of course getting a chance to work with actors of the caliber of Mr. Farooque Shaikh and Deepti Naval ji was a great incentive, and I was just not willing to let the opportunity slip.''
