Kamal Haasan's VISHWAROOP to release on DTH on 2nd February

Kamal Haasan was quite struggling with the release date of his upcoming film VISHWAROOP, which was postponed lately. The actor-filmmaker then, putting all the rumours to rest, even officially made the announcement of VISHWAROOP's release date as 25 January 2013.

While on DTH front he just mentioned that the film will also be released via this mode and didn't say anything about the exact date.

However, now Balaji Films, who is backing the release of Kamal Haasan's dearly made film, has officially issued a statement on Kamal Haasan's VISHWAROOP DTH release. The DTH release would be just after a week i.e. 2nd February 2013 after it hits the screens.

''The single DTH screening of VISHWAROOP (Hindi) would be on 2nd February 2013,'' reads the statement released by Balaji Films Distribution head, Girish Johar.

The film was scheduled to first premiere on Direct-To-Home (DTH) platform on January 10, but got cancelled following the stiff protests by theatre owners.

Looks like Kamal Haasan's VISHWAROOP has been now able to strike a balance!
