Bollywood box-office report of the week

Last Friday saw the release of Vishal Bhardwaj's Pankaj, Shabana, Imran and Anushka starrer MATRU KI BIJLEE KA MANDOLA. Unfortunately the film saw a dull start and could not improve over the weekend, netting just around 21 crores. Given the weekdays trend, MKBKM, does not stand much of a chance a the box-office.

MATRU KI BIJLEE KA MANDOLA has not done well even in the overseas (better in US) grossing £ 96,500 from UK and $338,800 from the US during the opening weekend (11-13 January)
