While the Arjun Rampal and Chitrangada Singh starrer, INKAAR, was never expected to set the box-office on fire, still the 20 percent opening (on an average) is a big disappointment, considering the topical theme (sexual harassment at workplace) of the film. However all is not lost yet and the film can still make up at select metro multiplexes, especially those frequented by the discerning audience, given Sudhir Mishra's reputation and track record, including his last, YEH SAALI ZINDAGI which also featured Chitrangada Singh. CHECK OUT: Arjun Rampal shines in INKAARThe other release of the week, the Prakash Raj and Sachiin Joshi starrer, MUMBAI MIRROR, fared worse with a below 10 percent start and has scant chances of improving. Meanwhile, the Paresh, Rajeev and Tena starrer, TABLE NO.21, fell heavily but still managed to add around 2.60 crore, thus netting around 12.25 crore (to be validated) in two weeks from India. Given the moderate budget, Fiji government subsidy and the non-theatrical rights, TABLE NO.21 is the first success (moderate) of the year.
