However, the dull scenario is about to witness a change as the upcoming release of the week is Tips' RACE 2, the quasi-sequel to the highly successful RACE.

Directed by the king of thrillers, 'Men in White', Abbas-Mustan, RACE 2 is indeed red hot, and the trade has put all its hopes on the Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Anil Kapoor starrer to emerge as the first big hit of the year. And why not; first and foremost the suave, sophisticated and handsome actors like Saif and John, and glamorous and sexy heroines like Deepika and Jacqueline, do have the star power to attract audience to the theaters. The stylish promos and of course, Abbas-Mustan's good track record is an added bonus.

The icing on the cake is the excellent music by Pritam, which has climbed the charts and can be heard in every nook and corner of the country.

'Party On My Mind', 'Latt Lag Gayee' and Atif Aslam's 'Be Inteha' are potential chart busters. And despite the fact that the music is only available for download, the songs are the favorite of the youth. So, music will indeed prove to be a big plus and help the film open to packed houses when it releases on 25th January all over.
