Subhash Kapoor replaces Rajkumar Hirani for MUNNABHAI CHALE DILLI

All the Munnabhai fans out there can jump with joy as here's a piece of good news! The on-and-off status of the third installment of MUNNABHAI series has been baffling many for a long time. But not anymore. As the makers have finally decided to go ahead with the third part of MUNNABHAI franchise. Producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has given his green signal for the film.

After giving huge hits like MUNNA BHAI M.B.B.S and LAGE RAHO MUNNABHAI , VVC films is ready to roll their third installment, however with few changes. The third part of the series, which was initially called MUNNABHAI CHALE AMERIKA, is now tentatively titled as MUNNABHAI CHALE DILLI.

Further, the man behind the successful series Rajkumar Hirani has been replaced by filmmaker Subhash Kapoor. Vidhu Vinod Chopra has signed on JOLLY L.L.B.'s director Subhash Kapoor for the next installment of MUNNABHAI. As Raju is busy with his current project P.K. with Aamir Khan.

Vinod Chopra, Raju Hirani and Abhijat Joshi jointly feel that Subhash is the perfect man who could take forward this franchise to another level. They saw JOLLY LLB's special screening and simply loved the film. They felt that Subhash's sensibility matched to what exactly they were looking for. They immediately met Subhash Kapoor and worked on their schedules.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra says, 'After seeing Subhash's work and discussing his thoughts and ideas, Raju, Abhijat and I collectively felt that we have, after a long search, found an individual with the right sensibility and approach to work with us in taking forward the MUNNABHAI franchise. I am pleased to welcome Subhash Kapoor into the Vinod Chopra Films family as the director of the next MUNNA BHAI film.'

Rajkumar Hirani has already set the bar very high by directing MUNNABHAI franchise. Now it is to be seen what magic Subhash Kapoor does!
