SJSM: Zakir Hussain plays strict & honest inspector, says Anshul Sharma

When we asked the director of the keenly awaited topical film SJSM, Anshul Sharma, about Zakir's character in the film he replied, ''Zakir Hussain is essaying the role of a loan inspector. The character that Zakir essays is that of a very honest, strict and righteous kind of inspector. His appearance brings some sort of semblance into the proceedings. In fact the moment we etched out the character the only name that came to my mind was that of Zakir Hussain.''.

Well, here is hoping to witness another stunning act from the versatile actor when the much anticipated film, SAARE JAHAAN SE MEHNGA... releases this Friday.
Anurag Kashyap's GANGS OF WASSEYPUR will open the 11th Annual Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles on April 9th, 2013. Epic in scope, GANGS OF WASSEYPUR is a mafia revenge saga chronicling the violent and bloody decade long turf war between two mob families. Set in the tumultuous times of India's Independence and industrialization, GANGS is a powerful and gritty portrayal of an era past. Part I will have its Los Angeles premiere as opening night film, while Part II will screen the following evening.
