Priyan-Riteish put Mushtaq in precarious situation

Writer Mushtaq Sheikh, who is pretty much an integral part of the Bollywood's inner circle, suddenly found himself in a position where it was a 'pick and choose' scenario. The men involved were Priyadarshan and Riteish Deshmukh and a point came where Mushtaq found himself in a precarious situation.


	MUSHTAQ SHIEKH, GENELIA AND RITEISH DESHMUKH

'This was during a recently held CCL match where Mushtaq was one of the invitees. It was a match between 'Kerala Striker' and 'Veer Marathi' which are owned by Priyadarshan and Riteish Deshmukh respectively. Since this is a celebrity driven event, it is pretty much expected that camps are the order of the day on field as well, just as is the case when it comes to film assignments,'' informs a source.

Mushtaq, who is friends with both director and the actor didn't want to take any sides though.

'He has written Priyadarshan's BILLU. On the other hand with Riteish as well as Genelia, he shares a very warm relationship. Instead of cutting a sorry figure by projecting himself as a man torn between two warring sides, he decided to cheer for both of them and ended up enjoying the best of both worlds,'' the source continues.

It was pretty much a tell-tale sight when he merrily jumped across the stands and celebrated with all involved.

Says a friend of the writer, 'Yes, Mushtaq was seen cheering for both the teams in the same match. It goes on to show that when friends turn foes and play cricket against each other, he is someone who managed to be friends with both warring teams.'
