Says the 33-year-old actor, “It's very difficult to prepare for a role (like HAIDER). I had the support of fantastic actors and that really helped me a lot. But this is one role which made me feel very inadequate as an actor. Every day on set, I had this inherent feeling that I wasn't good enough to play this role. Ask him whether it was difficult for him to switch on and off from the character and he says, “I don’t think you can switch on and switch off when you play a role like this. I think you need to stay in that zone. We were very lucky that we shot the entire film in Kashmir because it has a unique energy. It’s very difficult to describe it. HAIDER is an official adaptation of William Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’. Also starring Shraddha Kapoor, Tabu, Kay Kay Menon and others, the film is scheduled to release on 2nd October.
