HATE STORY 2 has released and turned out to be yet another surprise success of the year. For debutante Surveen Chawla, the wait has been worth it as after being around for years, she decided to wait for a right launch and with HATE STORY 2 her decision has paid off as well.
Still, since she was knocking at the doors of Bollywood for long, was it a desperate wait for her till director Vishal Pandya came calling?
''To tell you something honestly, I have not really been desperate about anything, especially when it comes to making my way into Bollywood. I have waited for long enough and have gone through a phase where either I have rejected something or I have been rejected,'' she confesses.

''When HATE STORY 2 came to me, the only aspect I knew about it was that it could possibly belong to erotic thriller genre, considering the first in the franchise. This is when Vikram Bhatt categorically told me that it was not an erotic thriller,'' she reveals, ''Now that you have seen the film, I am sure you realize the story is not based on sex, there is a lot of content too.''
No wonder, audience came calling at the multiplexes as well, something that has ensured that HATE STORY 2 would collect in the upwards of 15 crore, which is quite respectable and would ensure that Surveen is here to stay for sure.
