One of India's premier music company and now a top production house as well with many back to back hits, T-Series' (led by head honcho Bhushan Kumar) next offering is CREATURE 3D. And with director Vikram Bhatt at the helm of affairs, one expects nothing short of chartbusting music from the team. Tried and tested and ever reliable composer Mithoon and young and talented Tony Kakkar are entrusted with the task of helming the music, so let's check out whether these gen next musicians deliver as per expectations.
Tony Kakkar provides a chartbusting start to the album with the supremely melodious love ditty, 'Sawan Aaya Hai
' and guess who is the singer? It's none other than the magical Arijit Singh who weaves his spell once again (in fact he is making it a habit!) with a superlative rendition. Simple tune, simple lyrics and of course, the lovely orchestration (flute is heavenly) make for a superb composition.
Tony Kakkar's unplugged version of 'Sawan Aaya Hai
' makes for a good repeat here but Kakkar's rendition pales in comparison to Arijit's masterly one.
'Sawan Aaya Hai
' remix is tastefully done although one prefers the original for obvious reasons! CHECK OUT: Who's that 'Creature' protecting Bipasha Basu?
Mithoon's outing; 'Hum Naa Rahein Hum
' harks back to the Nadeem-Shravan and Anu Malik days of yore as melody reigns supreme. Benny Dayal does a good job, although someone like Javed Ali or even Sonu himself would have done more justice to this slightly difficult to render number, which is sung in many different pitches. Lyrics inspired by Guru Dutt's classic 'Waqt Ne Kiya
' is the highlight of this sure-shot hit romantic track.
'Hum Naa Rahein Hum
' remix follows the tried and tested path making the song more club or dance oriented.
