The team of Viacom Motion Pictures, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Akshay Kumar come back with another hard hitting masala entertainer, GABBAR, which is certainly expected to repeat the ROWDY RATHORE magic. Music by Chirantan Bhatt, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Manj Musik promises to be exciting and entertaining.

GABBAR IS BACK WALLPAPERS
GABBAR IS BACK WALLPAPERS

The love ballad 'Teri Meri Kahaani' by Chirantan Bhatt, featuring Akshay and Kareena, uplifts the dull mood with a fresh tune and good arrangements. Arijit adds another feather to his crown and is well supported by Palak.

Another feel good romantic number may not exactly be the order of the day but Chirantan's 'Coffee Peetey Peetey' makes for a good hear with light and frothy contemporary music arrangements, nice R&B fresh tune and lovely singing by Dev Negi and Paroma Das Gupta.

Yo Yo proves why he is still the number one sought after musician with the rap-mujra, 'Aao Raja'. The fusion of his rap and hip hop with pure desi beats creates magic. Adding to the magic is the sizzling hot Chitrangda Singh. Double meaning lyrics are a bit of a dampener but nevertheless it is a chartbusting effort by Yo Yo and Neha Kakkar who excels here. One can't help but mention Shobha Gurtu's mujra 'Kahin Ho Na Mohalle Mein Halla, Kiwadia Na Khatkana' from CHOWKI NO. 11 (1978), which carried the same spirit as 'Aao Raja'.

Raftaar and Manjit Rai's (Manj Musik) 'Warna Gabbar Aa Jayega' is a very interesting effort that can be classified as a title track as it encompasses the spirit of the anti-corruption theme of the film. Popular dialogues from SHOLAY and GABBAR have been used well.

The audio of GABBAR is brief with just four songs but it is certainly a case of quality (given the film's theme) over quantity. All the songs are pleasant to the ears and our favourites are 'Teri Meri Kahani', 'Aao Raja' and 'Warna Gabbar Aa Jayega'. Just like ROWDY RATHORE the music will surely attain popularity, ensuring a great initial when GABBAR IS BACK releases all over on May Day.
