Boney Kapoor is known for hit remakes of South films and in association with brother Anil Kapoor produced quite a few, and here his son carries the legacy forward (as an actor), with TEVAR, co-produced by EROS and Sanjay Kapoor Entertainment. The remake of Telugu hit OKKADU (2003), which also boasts of quite few remakes in Tamil (GHILLI), Kannada (AJAY) and Bengali ( JOR), the film's music is helmed by Sajid-Wajid . And there is no doubt that the two will surely live up to the expectations as they have done in the past.
The song that introduces the lead male protagonist, 'Super Man' relies on some lovely beats and equally addictive rhythm and is sung superbly by Wajid, who does a good job. The lyrics are just excellent as they convey the attitude and colourful character of the lead in a very interesting style.
'Super Man' remix makes for a good second hear.
Ritu Pathak's commences 'Radha Nachegi' which appears to be seeped in bhakti ras in the beginning but later takes the hue of a lovely fusion but very contemporary dance number. Shadab Sabri and Danish Sabri provide full support . Composers need to be commended for a superb musical arrangements comprising of sitar, drums, 'tabla', guitar and so does the lyricist who uses simple Hindi and English!

International fame singer Imran Khan (of 'Amplifier' and 'Unforgettable' fame) comes up with his kind of celebration track techno pop and soft rock via 'Let's Celebrate'. This is Imran's debut song for any Bollywood film and there were huge expectations from it and one can say that they are met, to an extent. The song will surely be lapped up by the Gen X thronging clubs and pub and is a chartbuster all right.
Mika Singh and Mamta Sharma complement each other with their full on attitude item number, 'Madamiya'
, that will surely be patronized by the target audience. The lyrics are cute, and especially where the girl is likened to the different sweets of UP, brings a smile, although the very heavy background musical arrangements was uncalled for.
Actress Shruti Hasan has displayed her vocal prowess quite a few times and in 'Joganiyan'
she certainly carries the good job forward. A soft rock lovely romantic love ballad with nice arrangements and lovely chorus.
An ace of a separation number 'Main Nahin Jaana'
rendered superbly by Shafqat Amanat Ali is another fusion number with apt lyrics and lovely chorus. The song has different shades like semi-classical, soft rock with lovely orchestra and some equally superb guitar, 'sitar' and piano. CHECK OUT: Tevar Dialogues'Tevariific'
