Suhas and Supriya is a happy couple. Supriya is very kind hearted. She adores young brother-in-law Rohit. Rohit is well educated and now an employee in a bank, around the age of getting married. Supriya & Sharadrao (Rohit’s brother-in-law) want that Rohit should marry a smart girl. Suhas is absent minded and always remains busy in his printing business. Sharadrao has a catering business and he is fedup of his one and only son 'chamya'. Meanwhile Sharadrao suggests Mr. Dhorpande's, who has business of 'Dronpatravade' (A vessel made out of leaves), daughter for Rohit. Rohit was in love with Anupama Nelekar.
