Manoj Sharma is the youngest voice artist of Karnataka to receive the prestigious Indian Excellence Award for 5000 VO recordings. It’s set to be awarded on 30th October 2021 in New Delhi. A popular name in the Karnataka Voice-Over, Music and film Industry, Manoj has worked for more than 200 movies and films in backvocals and lead singing section.
Manoj started his career with a Kannada devotional song sung at the Aaradhana Mahotsava held at Raghavendra Swami Mutth. His melodious voice left the judges spellbound and he won a first prize. There was no looking back. Manoj was later commended by many institutions. With titles and accolades like Kalaniketan, Gaana Kusuma, Sangeetopasana, Manoj has won over 200 awards and delivered over 700 performances.
Manoj hails from a family which is devoted to music since generations. His mother and aunt were Honoured Music Scholars of their time. Since his acquaintance with music from 3 years of age, Manoj has been the immersed in music to the core.
Manoj entered the Kannada film industry when he was 21. Since then, Manoj has rendered his voice to numerous artists. Since then, he has recorded 5,000 voiceovers in 28 different languages. Manoj has been a voice for Dabangg 3, Manoratha, Robert, Avane Srimannarayana, The villain and many more. He has performed with many leading musicians a of Karnataka, namely, Hamsalekha, Rajesh Krishnan, Archana Udupa, Vijay Prakash, Arjun Janya, Armaan Malik, and Jogi Sunita.
With brands like Josh, Nissan and Wysh under his hat, Manoj has also recorded for National and multi-national brands. Manoj is a Medical grad, a singer, a voiceover artist and a designer too. Yes, astonishingly this man is stuffed with creativity and multi-tasking.
Manoj has won a Jewelry designing competition held by South Indian Temple. To add to it, he handles social media accounts for many celebrities and ministers like Janardhan Reddy, Katta Subramanya Naidu, B N Chandrappa, Chhote Lal Rai, V G Rajendran, Madan Sahni, A C Shanmugam and many more.
