With Siddharth-Parineeti’s JABARIYA JODI being postponed by a week, T-Series’ Sonakshi Sinha’s KHANDAANI SHAFAKHANA will now have an almost open release. The other releases alongside are Akshayshe Khanna-Richa Chaddha’s SECTION 375, M.S Films &Team’s CHASE-NO MERCY TO CRIME and Sudhanshu Jain Ruslan Mumtaz-Rashmi Singh starrer ROMEO IDIOT DESI JULIET. However, the winner yet again is likely to be Hollywood’s FAST & FURIOUS : HOBBS & SHAW both in the original and dubbed version.
Checking out last week’s two prominent releases, Balaji Motion Pictures’ Kangana Ranaut-Rajkummar Rao starrer JUDGEMENTALL HAI KYA and T-Series’ Diljit Dosanjh-Kriti Sanon spoof ARJUN PATIALA , while the former did manage a 20 crore weekend the latter could just about touch 5 crore mark during the same period. Needless to say that JUDGEMENTALL HAI KYA can still harbour some hopes but ARJUN PATIALA faces total rejection.
Meanwhile, Hollywood’s animated THE LION KING (dubbed) proved to be a big winner, netting 82 crore during the opening week from India and advancing towards a super hit status.

While on Anubhav Sinha’s Ayushmann Khurrana starrer, ARTICLE 15, the film based on good word-of-mouth and reviews continued to draw audience managing mid-level collections. Adding another 3.50 crore , ARTICLE 15 has netted 65 crore in four weeks from India and is a clean hit. ARTICLE 15 has also impressed in the overseas grossing $2.30m with £102,000 from UK and $1,050,000 from the US .
