The prominent release of the week is the Vikramjit Singh directed Arjun Rampal, Ranbir Kapoor and Jaqueline Fernandez starrer ROY. Given the different sort of promos and popular soundtrack (especially chartbuster ‘Sooraj Dooba’), not to forget Ranbir-Jacqueline chemistry, is most likely to work in favour of T-Series’ ROY.

Moving on, mega star Amitabh Bachchan’s R.Balki directed SHAMITABH, which started on a decent note, saw some pick up during the following days, netting 15 crore during the opening weekend from India. The film will have to show strong legs in the coming days to emulate the success of the team’s previous films like CHEENI KUM and PAA. SHAMITABH is fair in the overseas grossing £55,000 from UK and $242,000 from the US during the opening weekend (6-8 February).
