This week's three new releases include, Y-Films' MERE DAD KI MARUTI, the Arshad, Amrita and Boman starrer JOLLY L.L.B.., and Neil Nitin Mukesh's 3G. It is quite obvious that it will be an interesting clash between MERE DAD KI MARUTI and JOLLY L.L.B. for the top position, with the thriller 3G in hot pursuit.

Last Friday's one-to-one battle between SAHEB, BIWI AUR GANGSTER RETURNS and SAARE JAHAAN SE MEHNGA… was won comprehensively by SBAGR, as we had said (due to brand and star value). The Tigmanshu Dhulia directed SAHAB BIWI AUR GANGSTER RETURNS netted 11.50 crore (to be validated) during the opening weekend. Having said that, the film will have to show strong legs in the coming days to be a safe bet for its distributors, especially late Ponty Chadha's company.
