This Friday will see the release of Yash Raj Films', BEWAKOOFIYAAN, Legacy Film Productions & Subhash Sehgal's W and Ramsay Entertainment's NEIGHBOURS. Though the front runner is expected to be the Sonam Kapoor and Ayushman Khurana's BEWAKOOFIYAAN, but it does not carry the hype of the singer-composer-actor's previous two releases (especially VICKY DONOR). One feels that it will be the older release (read QUEEN) which will remain the preferred choice even this week.
Last week too saw multiple releases in the form of Ali Zafar's TOTAL SIYAPAA, Madhuri-Juhi starrer GULAAB GANG and the Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao venture, QUEEN. While the initial rounds were won by Anubhav Sinha's GULAAB GANG, it was QUEEN which came into its own during the weekdays. As things stand QUEEN is sure to emerge as a big success while GULAAB GANG has to work hard to achieve significant success. In the overseas, barring to an extent TOTAL SIYAPAA (due to Ali Zafar's Indian sub-continent popularity) the rest of the releases failed to make mark.
