The coming Friday will witness as many as five releases in the form of Siddharth-Ritesh’s MARJAAVAAN, Nawazuddin-Athiya’s  MOTICHOOR CHAKNACHOOR, Karan Kashyap’s BAGPAT KA DULHA, Rama Dhanraj Productions KEEP SAFE DISTANCE and Krushna Abhishek’s MARNE BHI DO YAARO.

There is another film JHALKI listed for release on Children’s  Day, 14th November starring Boman Irani, Tannishtha Chatterjee and Sanjay Suri based on child trafficking. With so many releases and harming each other’s prospects, but still, we feel that the best chances are for MARJAAVAAN and MOTICHOOR CHAKNACHOOR.

Having said that the week-old BALA, as well as the still in circulation HOUSEFULL 4, will be a handful for the newbies.

As expected and predicted the Amar Kaushik directed BALA, which started on a good to decent note picked up steam and ended up with a good 42 crore weekend.

That BALA will be a hit, was a foregone conclusion, the only question that remains unanswered is how huge a hit will the film be! BALA has also impressed in the overseas (good in US) grossing over $2m with £85,000 from UK and $775,000 from the US, during the opening weekend (8-10 Nov).
