This Friday’s prominent new release is Bhushan Kumar’s John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, and Ileana D’Cruz starrer PAGALPANTI along with BIG Curtains Media Pvt. Ltd’s DOSTI ZINDABAD.

Needless to add that the Anees Bazmee directed film will be the front runner, though the older releases will still give a good competition to PAGALPANTI.

Coming to last week’s releases, Siddharth-Ritesh’s MARJAAVAAN and Nawazuddin-Athiya’s  MOTICHOOR CHAKNACHOOR, it was the former which decimated the latter! In fact, after a decent opening day (7 crores) MARJAAVAAN picked up steam, netting 24-25 crore during the opening weekend, and given the quite steady weekdays, it is sure to end up as a successful film. The other release MOTICHOOR CHAKNACHOOR saw outright rejection netting around 2 crores during the first weekend.
