The coming Friday will see the release of the Hansal Mehta directed Rajkummar Rao starrer CITYLIGHTS along with Ekta Kapoor's KUKU MATHUR KI JHAND HO GAYI. Given the fact that CITYLIGHTS is from the National Award-winning SHAHID team, it is expected to score over KUKU MATHUR KI JHAND HO GAYI, though the week-old HEROPANTI will still be a formidable opponent.
Meanwhile just as we had expected, Sajid Nadiadwala's Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon and Sandeepa Dhar starrer, HEROPANTI, embarked on an impressive start and picked up further during the remaining two days of the weekend, netting 20-21 crore. Given the reasonable all inclusive cost (25 crore) and the way the film has progressed during the weekdays
HEROPANTI is expected to become a big success and give the industry a new star in the form of Tiger Shroff. The other major release of the week, mega star Rajnikanth`s KOCHADAIIYAAN (dubbed, animation) failed to make much of an impact with the Hindi version and could not emulate the success of ROBOT.

Checking out Amole Gupte's HAWAA HAWAAI, the film fell heavily but still managed to add 1.50 crore, thus netting 7.50 crore in two weeks from India and is an average fare.
