Meanwhile,  after a decent 3.50 crore during its opening week , Vivek Agnihotri’s THE TASHKENT FILES, saw a rare (nowadays) growth in collections in its second week, especially in big cities and metros( 1.75 crore from Bombay, 15 lakhs from Ahmedabad, 8 lakhs from Surat, 10 lakhs from Baroda, 85 lakhs from Pune, 30 lakhs from Delhi city, 20 lakhs from Calcutta and 35 lakhs from Bangalore). Adding another 4 crore in it’s second week, THE TASHKENT FILES  has thus netted 7.50 crore in two weeks from India and is a below average project!

Concluding with the Holi release, Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra starrer, KESARI, the film  netted a creditable 1.50 crore in its fifth week thus taking its total to 153.50 crore in five weeks from India and is a hit.
