The coming Friday will witness a host of releases, namely, Sunny Deol’s action thriller, BLANK, Ashwini Chaudhari’s Aftab-Shreyas starrer, SETTERS and horror, thriller 1978-A TEEN NIGHT OUT. Not much is expected from the new releases as Hollywood’s AVENGERS: ENDGAME is likely to overshadow all the major releases. Last week’s mega release, Hollywood’s AVENGERS : ENDGAME, witnessed a phenomenal opening day (53 crore plus) and continued the game at the same pace netting a humongous 158 crore during the opening weekend. Given the rock steady weekday run, the projected opening week numbers may well cross the gigantic 260 crore mark!

Meanwhile, after a decent 3.50 crore during its opening week , Vivek Agnihotri’s THE TASHKENT FILES, saw a rare (nowadays) growth in collections in its second week, especially in big cities and metros( 1.75 crore from Bombay, 15 lakhs from Ahmedabad, 8 lakhs from Surat, 10 lakhs from Baroda, 85 lakhs from Pune, 30 lakhs from Delhi city, 20 lakhs from Calcutta and 35 lakhs from Bangalore).
