The coming Friday is all set to see an interesting clash between David Dhawan's DO KNOT DISTURB and Karan Johar's Ayan Mukherji directed WAKE UP SID.

Why we are saying interesting is because the two movies look quite diverse and cater to separate audiences. While the Govinda, Lara and Ritesh starrer DO KNOT DISTURB looks funny and interesting and will appeal to the masses and a section of the multiplex crowd, the Ranbir-Konkona starrer WAKE UP SID seems to be on the top of the list of the to-see films of the city youth and the campus crowd.

Last Friday saw the release of Ashutosh Gowariker's Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja starrer, WHAT'S YOUR RAASHEE? and Anjum Rizvi's FAST FORWARD (except in Delhi-U.P.). WHAT'S YOUR RAASHEE ?, which released at 92 cinemas of Bombay-Thane and at 60 cinemas of Delhi-U.P. (thru UTV Motion Pictures), saw a very good opening at some cinemas of Bombay circuit, the opening was good in select cinemas of some other circuits, but average to dull otherwise. Trade feels that despite the creditable effort, the 22-23 crore WHAT'S YOUR RAASHEE ? will entail losses to the makers, mainly due to the excessive length and lack of humour in the proceedings. In the Overseas WHAT'S YOUR RAASHEE? has been rejected, grossing a poor ?58,577 from UK and a disappointing $169,005 from the US, till the second weekend (25-27 September).

The second release of the same week, Y.T. Entertainment Ltd. and Anjum Rizvi Film Co.'s FAST FORWARD has turned out to be the expected trade disaster.
