Akshay Kumar is one of the most recognizable film actors in India, with hit films such as ‘SINGH IS KINNG’ and starring opposite Sylvester Stallone in ‘KAMBAKKHT ISHQ’. This month ‘The Screening Room Xtra’ catches up with Kumar in London as he shoots his latest film, a romantic comedy called ‘Housefull’. Myleene Klass talks frankly with the Bollywood star about his career to date. Plus, this year marks the fortieth anniversary of the legendary rock festival Woodstock. MK – Akshay you are here in London making new film Housefull, How has your experience in London I hear you had some problems with the lead actress Deepika Padukone coming down with malaria.
AK – Oh that happened just for four or five days, it was okay after that. We had a lot of work to do so we went to plan B. We couldn’t go to plan A. So yes that was there but then it was okay. She was released so it was fine…
We’re on schedule, we’re actually two days earlier now. And the weather has been supporting us a lot. And now the ashes are going to begin today and I hope it goes to five more days because I’m a big fan of cricket.
