One Day: Justice Delivered movie review: An embarrassing misfire
ONE DAY: JUSTICE DELIVERED movie review is here. Released today, the movie stars Anupam Kher and Esha Gupta in pivotal roles. Helmed by Ashok Nanda, the movie is a thriller where Anupam Kher plays a judge. Does it excites and delivers?. Let’s find out in the movie review of ONE DAY: JUSTICE DELIVERED.
Immediate reaction when the end credits roll
Absurd title, more absurd the movie and even more absurd is to find an actor par excellence like Anupam Kher playing the lead in this embarrassingly nonsensical misfire.
Retired Judge Tyagi (Anupam Kher) after diligently serving the law decides to take law in his hands and punish some people. Suddenly people go missing and ACP Laxmi Rathi (Esha Gupta) steps in to find the culprit. What happens next?
What excited Anupam Kher to be a part of this crap?. Kidnapping people, making them captive, asking them to confess their crime or else face a brutal death. While doing this, Tyagi is either enjoying his coffee or a fruit ( fine but there has to be a graph to establish such a behavior, you can,t just push a character right up to the face of the audience, even if the character is played by a veteran like Anupam Kher). Like any pointless and unbearable thriller, the writer Alaukik Rahi and director Ashok Nanda rely on bizarre mix of inane shocks, item numbers that increase in direct proportion to the movies decreasing vitality. The movie sees a pathetic waste of talents like Zarina Wahab, Murli Sharma and Rajesh Sharma. The dialogues and Esha Gupta both are unintentionally funny. ONE DAY: JUSTICE DELIVERED is a bheja boil of everything. Kumud Mishra is the only saving grace.
I feel for Anupam Kher who deserves much better than this kalank in the name of thrillers where nothing only the movie’s negatives are well developed.
