The nawab of B-town, Saif Ali Khan may be known for his stylish ways, his firang twang, uber cool avatars; however when it comes to being trendy or following any popular trend, Saifu isn’t that active or willing.
Here we go listing few points where Saif needs to get on with the on-going developments, which in turn, we believe, would benefit his star status:
Join social media: With the growing demand and importance of social media and where almost half the film industry is engaged with it , it’s high time Saif considers joining it.
While Saif always believed that there should be certain mystery around stars and joining the social networking sites would kill the aura of a star, the current trend suggests that it’s ideal to be on micro-blogging site! Having a micro-blogging page lends a status and the platform can be used for many purposes including film promotions.
Take up small screen: While many of his colleagues from Amitabh Bachchan to Shahrukh Khan to Aamir Khan to Salman Khan have taken over small screen and realized it’s power and growing popularity, Saif is aloof from this medium for reasons best known to him.
Since small screen has a wide reach, it can help enhance his already existing fanbase.
Be aggressive promoter and influencer : Where doing aggressive promotions and marketing is order of the day, we haven’t seen Saifu forthcoming in this area. Where biggies like Shahrukh, Salman, etc to newbies like Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor and others don’t leave a chance to grab the attention, Saif will have to go a step ahead to be the cynosure of all eyes!
To be part of any sports league : Owning a sports team or being a part of sports league is new a fad in B-town. Hotties like Abhishek Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Ranbir Kapoor, Shilpa Shetty, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and many others are taking keen interest to get attached with some or other sport. However, our nawab, who is the son of Late cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, seems less or not at all interested in this zone!
Should do cliched commercial ventures: It’s been quite a long time Saif gave a solo hit. His last success was LOVE AAJ KAL as solo venture. Post that Saif took a different route to be experimental, when on other side his contemporaries were busy minting money with clichéd commercial masala films.
It would be great to see Saif in an out-n-out ‘masala’ flick, which is a Box-office delight these days!
