Aamir Khan, the Mr. Perfectionist, of Bollywood is all excited about his next offering DANGAL. The curiosity generated by the film’s trailer, Aamir Khan’s look in it and the strong story line has proved that Aamir is one such actor who believes in doing meaningful films. The actor always strives to offer his viewers something which has been never attempted before.
The comparison between DANGAL and Salman Khan’s last hit SULTAN is inevitable, given that both the films revolve around the theme of ‘wrestling’. SULTAN broke many records and was liked by the masses as well. So now all the eyes are set on Aamir Khan to surpass all the records and expectations from his upcoming film.
While everyone is looking forward to DANGAL, even after being the most bankable star in Bollywood, Aamir Khan on the song launch of his film said, “I am not here to break records I want my films to touch the soul.” Every time the actor has said this, his films has broken the previous records at Box-Office and also made their way into people’s heart
However it is to be noted that SULTAN is a fictional account of wrestling champion from Haryana, while DANGAL is a biographical sports drama based on Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari, who won Gold and Silver medals respectively at 2010 Common Wealth Games.
We hope DANGAL not only touches people’s soul but also sets new benchmarks for other actors and filmmakers to follow.
