Not only Mahendra Singh Dhoni, but cricketers like Virat Kohli, Saurav Ganguly and ‘God of Indian Cricket’ Sachin Tendulkar too have been co-owners of various teams in the league, apart from Bollywood celebs like Ranbir Kapoor, John Abraham, Parineeti Chopra, Hrithik Roshan among others.
Probe Abhishek whether it is a deliberate move to involve celebrities so as to attract more audience and he reveals, “Having celebrities on board is not going to hurt. If we can become a medium to get more attention for the sport, then I am more than happy to do that. At the end sport wins.”
