He wished his fans for the wishes and prayers as he wrote in his blog, “I wish to thank all those that have most graciously sent in their concern and greetings for a speedy recovery. Your prayers shall go a long way in bringing me back to normal and for this I am always eternally grateful.”
Earlier, in another of his blog posts after revealing the news, he linked all his health problems as ‘a legacy of the past in particular the accident of 1982 and COOLIE’ adding that the ‘subsequent disturbances have all and shall emanate from it.’
He was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver in 2002 and later in 2005 he was treated for perforated diverticula-holes in the wall of the intestine. And again in 2008, the actor suffered problems in stomach due to incisional hernia.
